Rhode Island

About Us

The Rhode Island Cluster brings together a diverse group of specialties, predominantly family medicine physicians, internal medicine physicians, certified nurse-midwives, and students who are interested in or providing reproductive health care.

The Cluster focuses on improving access to reproductive health, especially abortion care, in the United States’ most Catholic state. Recent successes have included joining with the Rhode Island Coalition for Reproductive Freedom to pass the Reproductive Health Act, which codified Roe v. Wade at the state level.

The Cluster meets three to four times a year and engages in a variety of clinical training, advocacy, and peer support activities.
