About Us
The Mid-Atlantic cluster welcomes all abortion and/or abortion-supportive providers from across the Maryland/DC region. We are based in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Maryland in Baltimore and our members are comprised of students, residents, faculty, and community providers. We are happy to represent providers and interested people across disciplines and training scopes with a mission that works to expand access, training, and advocacy for abortion provision across the region. We began in 2015, and since then, have had quarterly gatherings that focus on abortion training, advocacy, and safe spaces for abortion providers and advocates to converge.
