FQHC Cluster

FQHCs have become one of the strongest safety nets in the U.S. health care system. Despite the requirement for FQHCs to provide comprehensive services, there are funding restrictions on abortion provision and increasing fear about potential new restrictions on gender affirming care, which many FQHCs are already providing. Misinformation and lack of official guidance create challenges for organizations to set up the administrative and financial systems to provide care outside of their federal funding. 

Join the FQHC Cluster, a virtual gathering space of individuals and health centers who share the common interest in and goal of providing the full scope of reproductive health services, including abortion and gender affirming care, at FQHCs. This is a place for:

• Awareness and education
• Collaboration and innovation

We provide:

• A confidential and trustworthy space for those working at FQHCs to connect about challenges, barriers, and solutions to providing out of scope care at their health centers
• Education and resources on how to compliantly provide abortion and other out of scope services at FQHCs
